“I finished reading True Vines a couple weeks ago, but the characters are still with me. I miss the vineyard in Italy, and the coffee shop in Pennsylvania. This book is a page turner, but also the novel that you don’t want to end. I wonder if there will be a sequel? ”
“I love Italy and all things Italian. So, when I learned about Diana Strinati Baur’s debut novel, it was an automatic must-read. I was looking forward to another Italy-fix along the lines of the famous books by Frances Mayes & Elizabeth Gilbert. What I wasn’t prepared for was the beautifully and lyrically written ode to the power of place and second chances. As enjoyable & entertaining as Under the Tuscan Sun & Eat, Pray, Love are, they do not compare to the depth of soul that is True Vines.”
